Search the list of detector tubes for over 350 types of gas and vapor substances.
Sensidyne gas detector tubes are cost-effective, require minimal training, and provide immediate on-site results without the need for calibration. They also allow monitoring of over 350 gas/vapor concentrations with high field accuracy and are ideal for spot-checking applications.
Sensidyne maintains strict quality control by individually calibrating each lot of tubes, using ISO-9001 certified processes, and conducting periodic lot testing.
Tube diameters can differ between manufactures, resulting in a poor seal and air leakage bypassing the tube. Mixing brands is not recommended due to variations in tube resistance, flow rates, and calibration, which can cause significant accuracy issues. Sensidyne offers a Pump Swap Program to replace competitor pumps with a Sensidyne pump.
Accuracy depends on factors such as temperature (0–40°C), humidity (10–90% RH), ambient pressure, proper pump operation, and adherence to the correct number of strokes. Readings are most accurate under factory calibration conditions (20°C and 50% RH). Follow the included instruction sheet for conversion tables for varying ambient conditions.
Insert an unbroken tube, pull the handle to the lock position, and wait one minute. Slowly release the handle while guiding it back—if the pump is leak-free, the handle should return to the starting position.
