Sensor Exchange Program
Keep a Calibrated Spare Sensor at Our Factory.
For gas sensors monitoring highly toxic or volatile compounds, frequent calibration using specialized standards can be a logistical challenge. Our Sensor Exchange Program offers a convenient and efficient solution:
Key Features:
- Easy “Hot-Swapping:” Transportable Calibration is a feature of our Plus Series “Smart Sensors” (including SensAlert Plus, SensAlert ASI, SensAlarm Plus, and SensAlarm Flex), allowing pre-calibrated sensors to seamlessly share data with the transmitter upon installation. This eliminates the need for field calibration, minimizing downtime during maintenance.
- Factory Fresh Calibration: Your spare sensors are securely stored in our temperature-controlled facility until needed. Prior to shipment, each sensor undergoes rigorous calibration and testing in our Factory Mutual (FM) certified lab. A fresh, calibrated sensor is then shipped directly to you with a traceable calibration certificate.
- Reduced Maintenance Costs: This program is ideal for remote sensor locations where on-site calibration is impractical or expensive. It also eliminates the need for specialized calibration equipment and personnel, saving you time and money.
- Flexible Calibration Intervals: Choose the calibration frequency that best suits your needs – 30, 60, or 90 days – to ensure optimal sensor performance and regulatory compliance.
How it Works:
Enroll in the program and purchase a spare sensor set.
- We’ll store your spare sensors in our secure facility until calibration is required.
- When a sensor needs replacement, a pre-calibrated sensor is shipped directly to you.
- Simply hot-swap the old sensor for the new one – no field calibration necessary.
- Return the used sensor to us for storage and future exchange.
